Preparation for Hospital Build China 2012 Exhibition & Congress and the 13th China Hospital Construction Forum is in the progress. As one of the series activities of the event, the 2nd China Hospital Construction Photographic Match also has been started. The match is organized by National Institute of Hospital Administration (NIHA), Healthcare Photographers Association of China and Architects of Chinese Architectural Society.
Essential Theme: " Humanistic Healthcare • Glamorous Buildings"
The event will still follow " Humanistic Healthcare • Glamorous Buildings" as the theme. Aim to focus on the unique charm of the art of photography through comprehensive display of the new era of China’s hospitals in humanistic environment, construction layout, architectural space, architectural detail and scientific & technical innovation of improvements and achievements. From the “humanistic” and “glamour” point of view, all entries require to display photographic work from both direction of reality and creativity.
Reality: present relevance of medical buildings, details of the charm and beauty of modern aesthetic feeling;
Creativity: from the point of showing building individuation and creation, combines with aesthetics and modern elements to express the understanding of the medical building.
Various ways of entries
In accordance with the requirements of the event, entries could be single photography, also could be a series of photos-systematic of medical buildings to show details of the building from all angles of the construction features, such as photograph grouping of external architectural, external environment, wards, shared lobby and corridors.
Collections of old hospital photos need to be group photo, the point is to emphasis hospitals over 100 years, to reflect various historical periods and development of architectural style of hospital.
Award ceremony will be presented in the 13th China Hospital Construction Forum
The closing date is March 30th 2012; contribution date is according to local postmark date. Each participant is limited of submitting 10 single works, 5 works for each group (no limitation on old hospital group works), and maximum 30 for organized by institutions.
The selected result will be launched on wwwlchaej.com and www.hospitalbuildchina.cn, the award ceremony will be held on the 13th China Hospital Construction Forum. The first, second and third class medals and honorable mention, collective group award and classic old photographs will be decided.
Special show area of award-winning works will be particularly set up during the Hospital Build China 2012 Exhibition
The award-winning works will be exhibited during Hospital Build China 2012, which will be hold in the same period, allows delegates appreciate and experience the great progress and achievements in the new era of hospitals in China, including: humanistic environment, construction layout, architectural form, architectural space, architectural detail and scientific & technical innovation
