A China-US joint venture hospital started construction

On the morning of July 16, Cilin Hospital, a Sino-US joint venture started construction in Guanhaiwei Town of Cixi. Reportedly, This hospital is the first joint venture modernized hospital that is approved by Zhejiang Province. Cheng Yuechong, Vice Mayor of Ningbo, attended the corner stone laying ceremony.
Cilin Hospital is a large project signed in the Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium 2008, and it is a key project for Cixi for 2010. The hospital covers an area of 180 mu, and the total investment 876 million yuan. Reportedly, the project is jointed invested by China Medical Co., Ltd. of HCA Group and Cixi Health Development Investment Co., Ltd. It is to be an advanced comprehensive hospital featured for special clinics, with advanced management and international technologies and capacity to offer custom-made and international services. The project is to be completed in three years.
